Guide for Stroke Recovery Workshop

This 1.5 hour workshop equips clinicians with knowledge and skills to: introduce the GSR and describe its value to persons with stroke, families/ caregivers; support persons with stroke to manage their care and recovery with the use of the GSR; and support patient education, goal setting, transitions of care, and community reintegration.

Cognitive Orientation to Daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP) Refresher

This virtual workshop will expand your skills for practical applications of the CO-OP Approach, including: 1. Review key features of the CO-OP Approach, 2. Discuss using CO-OP through your case examples, and 3. Introduction to the Cognitive Orientation to Daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP) Approach Workshop Series

This virtual workshop will provide clinicians with an introduction to the CO-OP Approach. CO-OP is a performance-based, problem-solving approach that enables skill acquisition through a process of strategy use and guided discovery. In this workshop, participants will learn the rationale for using cognitive approaches, the evidence for using the CO-OP Approach with those who have had a stroke, and the seven key features of the CO-OP Approach. They will have the opportunity for practical application of the CO-OP Approach.  For more information click here.
