June is Stroke Month – A List of Events for 2014

To celebrate June is Stroke Month, there will be lots of fundraising and educational events happening across the province.  Several significant events include:

1. Dissemination of the Ontario Stroke Network Stroke and Dementia news release on June 2.

2. Release of the Heart & Stroke Foundation’s Ontario Stroke Quality Technical Report 2014 on June 5; and

3. Release of LHIN Report Cards on June 16 .

March of Dimes

On  June 18 2014 from 11:00am to 2:00 pm, March of Dimes is hosting A Showcase in Research in Stroke Recovery.  This is presented by the Heart and Stroke Foundation Canadian Partnership for Stroke Recovery and March of Dimes Canada.

Hospital staff will be participating in the Heart & Stroke Foundation Big Bike Ride on June 25th at 3 pm at the Novotel Hotel in North York (3 Park Home Avenue).
